Mao Xie oolong, is one of the 4 Anxi oolongs (Tie Guan Yin, Huang Jin Gui, Ben Shan, and Mao Xie) which comes from Anxi County of Fujian province.
Mao Xie (毛蟹茶), translated as "Hairy Crab",. The name is due to the fine downy hair that can be found on its leaves. The leaves of Mao Xie are green with silvery hairs. The only light oxidized tea gets a golden liquor with a flowery fragrance
Mao Xie is one of cheap oolong teas in Chinese tea marketplace.
Mao Xie tea can be infused 4-6 times. It is well suitable for Kung Fu style preparing.
