Qingcheng Xueya (Snow Bud Tea) is produced in Mount Qingcheng, Dujiangyan City, Sichuan Province. Tea farms were set up during the Song Dynasty here, which gave rise to the traditional production process. The leaves of Qingcheng Xueya are usually picked around the Qingming (Pure Brightness of the 24 Solar Terms, with one bud and one leaf as the standard, requiring the buds and leaves to be 3.5cm in length, fresh and even. With the stong shape and light green color, Qingcheng Xueya presents a bright yellow-green color after brewed.
